Organisation

This session is organised by the DUWIND faculty, Port of Rotterdam, InnovationQuarter and Maritime Delta.

The TU Delft Wind Energy Institute is the wind energy network of Delft University of Technology, both for research and education. Its research program covers almost all aspects of modern wind turbine technology, and is undertaken across 6 faculties in 13 groups.

Maasvlakte 2 is the ideal space for offshore wind testing and demo facilities. For that reason the Port of Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe, created the offshore wind test and demo location for offshore wind.

InnovationQuarter is the regional economic development organisation for the South Holland region, and facilitates innovation in the region by facilitating in setting-up innovationprojects, investing in innovative companies and assisting companies in starting their business in South Holland.

Maritime Delta is a regional collaboration initiative to strengthen the maritime cluster in the Maritime Delta, the maritime region from Rotterdam to Werkendam.
