Dr Omar Al-Janabi is the Head of Business Development, Impact and Partnerships at Durham University. Omar is a prolific networker who has been involved in business development for over 26 years. Omar loves creating impact through commercialisation of ideas. With a background in engineering, IP, and Contract Law, Omar has supported, started, scaled and exited a number of companies. Omar's passion is finding and supporting XR innovation in physical and mental health.
