Event: Climate Art on Campus Walking Tour

Sustainable Development in Education Network

How Can Art Foster Empathy & Solidarity in the Climate Debate?

This upcoming 3rd of April, join Aafke Fraaije, postdoc on Art for Climate Solidarity, for an inspiring campus walk exploring how art can enrich climate discussions in education.

With over 220 paintings and sculptures at TU Delft, many of these works can be used to support dialogue and reflection in our education. Join us in a walk around campus to discover some of these gems, while engaging

in meaningful conversations with your colleagues on what those mean to you, your practice and our university.

What to expect?

  • Discover ±10 thought-provoking artworks addressing the climate crisis and the engineer’s role in tackling it.

  • Engage in an interesting debate and reflection on sustainability, climate crisis, art, teaching and learning.

  • Connect with fellow people with a heart for sustainability (teachers, staff, students, etc.)
