Op maandag 1 september, van 15:30-16:30 uur, vieren we de Opening van het Academisch Jaar in de Aula van de Universiteit van Amsterdam, Singel 411. De deuren van de Aula zijn open vanaf 15:00 uur.

Als nieuw benoemde hoogleraar in 2024/2025 en afvaardiging van studieverenigingen en medezeggenschap nodigen we je ook van harte uit om mee te lopen in het cortège – een feestelijke primeur! Voor het eerst vormt een groep in deze formatie een stoet richting de Aula. Daarmee laten we zien hoe rijk en divers onze academische gemeenschap is. Het voorontvangst voor het cortège vind plaats in het Maagdenhuis vanaf 14:45 uur. Aanmelden kan via dit formulier.

 

On Monday 1 September, from 15:30-16:30, we will be celebrating the start of the academic year in the University’s Aula, at Singel 411. Doors of the Aula open at 15:00 hrs. 

As newly appointed professors in 2024/2025 and delegates from student associations and employee participation councils, we also cordially invite you to join the cortège - a festive first! For the first time, a group in this formation will form a procession towards the Aula. This will show how rich and diverse our academic community is.
