About the event​​​​​​

This third edition of our annual gathering brings together Ecowende and its partners to build on the strong momentum and collaboration of previous years. Since our last event (watch the video), the project has made major progress. Construction of the wind farm is well underway, with all 52 monopiles successfully installed. Innovative installation techniques were deployed at six locations to significantly reduce underwater noise, supporting our ambition to work in harmony with nature. We also completed the first BVLOS drone flight beyond the 12 NM zone for ecological surveys, enabling safer and more efficient monitoring.

As we enter the final phase of construction, continued collaboration as One Team remains essential. This event is an opportunity to reflect on our progress, strengthen our shared values, and align on the work ahead—particularly around safety, ecology, and ways of working.

As parking in IJmuiden is limited and to reduce travel emissions, we kindly ask you to travel to Schiphol Airport by public transport. From there, buses will be arranged from Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (Schiphol Boulevard 701, 1118 BN Schiphol) to take you to and from the venue.
