About the event​​​​​​

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Ecowende Pre-Summer Event 2026 on Thursday, 25 June, 09:00 - 19:00 hrs., in IJmuiden, Ecowende’s future home base. This marks the third edition of our annual gathering for Ecowende and its partners, and we look forward to building further on the strong momentum and relations established in previous years.

Since we last came together, the project has made significant progress. With construction of our wind farm now in full swing, several major milestones have been achieved. All 52 monopiles have been successfully installed. At six locations we deployed innovative installation techniques, significantly reducing underwater noise impact and reinforcing our commitment to team up with nature. We also completed the first BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) drone flight beyond the 12 NM-zone, to our wind farm for ecological surveys, opening new possibilities for safe, efficient and low-impact monitoring. These achievements reflect our shared ambition to set a new benchmark for ecological wind farms.

As we enter the final months of the construction phase, our focus is clear: to finish strong. This requires continued alignment and collaboration as One Team. The event provides an opportunity to reflect on our progress, reinforce our shared values, and ensure we are fully aligned for the work ahead—particularly in the areas of safety, ecology, and ways of working.

Event Location

IJmuiden (bus transportation arranged from Schiphol Airport)

As parking in IJmuiden is limited and to reduce travel emissions, we kindly ask you to travel to Schiphol Airport by public transport. From there, buses will be arranged to take you to and from the venue.
