What is the TU Delft 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Center of Excellence?

TU Delft is proud to be the first education institution to join the 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Centers of Excellence program in the Netherlands. The Center, based at field lab SAM XL and the faculty of Aerospace Engineering, has proven expertise in using and deploying Dassault Systèmes’ cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform for experiential and lifelong learning. Since the launch of the first 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Center of Excellence in 2021, it has already trained thousands of graduates and professionals in the world.

The official opening marks the start of a new phase in the collaboration that will bring together students, lecturers and scientists at TU Delft with applied science institutions and industry partners at the Center based at SAM XL, the campus-based field lab focused on smart advanced manufacturing.

Students will learn to work with virtual twins, supported by platform-certified instructors, to prepare them for evolving and future jobs, professionals in the lifelong learning curriculum of the university can upskill and partners can accelerate innovation together.
