You are warmly invited for the EEMCS Education Day 2016. This year’s theme is
‘You only learn once: innovate your classroom to teach the YOLO generation’
Like last year, the programme will be in English.
The EEMCS Education Day will take place at De Lindenhof in Delft on Monday, April 11, 2016, from 8:30 - 17:30, followed by drinks and dinner (until approx. 21:00).
It will certainly be an inspiring day; full of exciting presentations and opportunities for discussions with your EEMCS colleagues. Kristina Edström, Associate Professor in Engineering Education Development at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, will be giving the morning keynote lecture. Kristina focuses on quality and competence development within higher education, starting from conditions for student learning and for faculty teaching in engineering education. Rob Mudde, distinguished Professor of Science Education and project leader for the Executive Board’s TU-wide project “Education in the Spotlight”, will give the afternoon keynote lecture, examining the added value of on-campus teaching and highlighting the important interplay between research and education.

I look forward to see you on April 11th.
