APH Pecha Kucha Award 2019
The morning session of the APH Annual Meeting will end with a Pecha Kucha competition, in which three junior APH researchers will present their research on urban health in a broader sense and will compete for the APH Pecha Kucha Award 2019.
An abstract (max. 250 words) can be submitted about research related to urban health in a broader sense or local implementation of research. In the first round all abstracts will be reviewed on quality and relevance to the theme. All applicants will be informed in mid-September whether or not they will proceed to the next round. A selection of 16 applicants will join the Pecha Kucha workshop on September 30th (please make sure that you are available on that day from 10:00 till 17:00 hrs). The workshop will be a mix of theory, practical exercises and inspiring cases in which participants learn to present their research or project in a clear and convincing way, tailored to the target group. At the end of the workshop all 16 participants will present a short Pecha Kucha that will be reviewed on presentation skills by a jury. The 3 best Pecha Kucha presentations will be selected to compete for the APH Pecha Kucha Award 2019 during the plenary session of the Annual Meeting. The winner wins 750 Euros in vouchers. For attending the Pecha Kucha workshop, PhD students can count 0.5 ECs for their education program.
