Cleantech Mission to Boston: Energy Systems & Sustainable Building

Are you..

  • A cleantech startup or scaleup with a technology related to energy systems or sustainable building?
  • Looking to meet potential buyers or partners on the US East Coast?
  • Ready to present your solution to key players in the City of Boston's area development?
  • Interested in extending your network through the largest cleantech community in North-America?

...then join us on the Energy Systems & Sustainable Building Mission to Boston from 16 to 18 April!

During the mission we offer European cleantech innovators the opportunity to learn about the American market and its opportunities, make relevant connections and introduce their technology to local players. Besides local site visits and networking opportunities, two events make this mission of particular value for startups and scaleups in the fields of energy systems and sustainable building.

First of all, this mission marks the arrival of the Clipper Stad Amsterdam, a historic sailing ship, in Boston. The ship represents the historic ties between the Netherlands and US and travels along the East Coast of the US* as a first step in a multi-year program in which we exchange knowledge, innovate and do business together, and work towards a sustainable future. During a townhall meeting at the Clipper, we will discuss challenges in urban development, current approaches to these challenges, and the (potential) role of the participating companies' solutions for energy systems and sustainable building.

Additionally - in close co-operation with our partner Greentown Labs - a Meet-the-Buyer event offers you the opportunity to get in touch with leading enterprises in the energy systems and/or sustainable building sector. The event will give you the chance to have individual one-on-one meetings with key decision makers of globally leading companies in these sectors, amongst which GE and St. Gobain. By establishing valuable collaborations, pitching your products and services, and discussing business partnerships, this event can boost your company’s growth.

Thinking of staying in the US longer before or after this mission, or already interested in how you could follow-up after the mission? Have a look at the cooperation between Greentown Labs (the biggest cleantech incubator in North-America) and InnovationQuarter, which offers mission participants a unique opportunity (and discount!) to boost market entry in the Boston Area. More information can be found under ‘BOSteRDAM Cleantech Link'.

*The Clipper Stad Amsterdam will host various business events along the US East Coast, namely in Miami, New York, Boston and Baltimore. Interested in the program in the other cities? Please visit the website of RVO.
