 Mark Bünger Research Director Lux Research

Mark Bünger joined Lux Research in 2005; as a Research Director he focuses on strategic planning and advanced technologies and in bio-, aero-, and energy domains. Across over 20 years and 40 countries, he has worked as a management consultant, technology analyst, and entrepreneur at Accenture, Forrester Research, and several startups. He currently guest lectures at the University of California Berkeley. He studied business at Mälardalen Polytechnic (Sweden) and the University of Texas at Austin, and studied and worked in neurology and bioengineering labs at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Mark served as chairman of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, and is an avid linguist, athlete, and Maker.

 

 Hans van Breugel General Director Tocardo

Hans is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the development of renewable energy and sustainable housing projects. He is one of the founders of Tocardo. His background is in ocean tugboats and heavy lift vessels. Hans has sailed as a first officer and also worked for many years in the offshore oil and gas industry.

 

 Alexander van Os Co-founder Venture IQ

Alexander has been active in European-technology venture capital and private equity for over 17 years, and recently co-founded Venture IQ, a firm focused on enabling corporate innovation and venturing. Over the past four years Alexander was a Partner with Yellow&Blue, a venture capital fund focusing on clean energy technology companies. Before that, Alexander worked 10 years for AlpInvest Partners as a member of the technology venture capital and co-investments teams, during which time he invested in a wide range of sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the RijksUniversiteit Groningen and is a CFA charterholder. Alexander represents Yellow&Blue as chairman of the board at ROMO Wind AG and as board member at Locamation BV. He is also the managing director of HeatConvert BV, focusing on developing heat recovery projects in Europe.
