Welcome to the event website of CMI 2012 Event

The CMI 2012 Event will be on Tuesday December 4th 2012, 9.30-15.30 at the UMCG, Groningen.

This years’ topic of the CMI event is PET-MRI, a new combined Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology that offers interesting opportunities for researchers, clinicians and industries.

Worldwide billions of dollars are invested in medical product development, whereas, the increasing healthcare costs are a major concern. This means that there is growing awareness that new medical products need to be developed with a much clearer view on the medical need, patient comfort and the cost-benefit. In the 2012 CMI Event we will discuss the clinical value, as well as the economic value of new medical technology, with a specific focus on the PET-MRI.

The 2012 CMI Event will precede the inaugural lecture of Dr. Philip Elsinga, who is assigned as Professor in PET Radiochemistry, at 16.15h in the Academy building of the University of Groningen.

We will present a plenary programme with outstanding speakers from the Netherlands and abroad. This will be followed by round-table discussions during which the more practical ideas can be discussed in an informal way.

A preliminary programme is available when registering via the link below.

Please reserve this date for the CMI 2012 Event.

Yours sincerely,

CMI Office
