Welcome
Welcome on the registration website of the DCSE workshop, organized by the TU Delft Institute for Computational Science and Engeneering (DCSE).
On March 18, 2019 at 3:00pm there will be a DCSE workshop titled: Modern mathematical methods for geoscience applications
There are many important applications which lead to geoscience problems.
Two main research directions are seismics and porous media flow. Typical applications are CO-2 storage, geothermal heating, oil and gas exploration and exploitation, earthquakes etc. The resulting models become more and more complicated. In order to approximate solutions for these models advanced mathematical methods are needed. In this workshop international experts describe the state of the art of these methods and the way forward to develop better methods.
The registration is free.
