About the event

You are warmly invited to join the fourth annual Delft Female Impact Community event on 7 October 2026 from 15:30 – 19:30 at the TU Delft Aula Conference Centre.

This year’s edition is particularly special as we are honoured to welcome the new Rector Magnificus, Hester Bijl. Her presence highlights the importance of female leadership, diversity, inclusion, and impact in our community.

Under the theme Voices of TU Delft Women, we bring together inspiring women from across the entire TU Delft community — from students and researchers to professionals in education, innovation, and valorisation.

You can expect an afternoon that is interactive, personal, and genuinely connecting. Alongside keynote reflections by Stephanie Heerema and Axelle Viré, you will take part in small roundtable conversations hosted by women from across the university. These sessions are designed to spark open dialogue, encourage reflection, and build meaningful connections across disciplines and generations. Personal stories will be the core of the program. Stories about ambition and curiosity, about choices and challenges, and about the many ways impact is created — every day, in different forms.

Meet our Voices here.

The programme will be guided by Lotte Leufkens, TU Delft alumna, entrepreneur and experienced moderator, who will bring an engaging, conversational flow to the afternoon.

We will close the day with drinks, bites, and informal networking — the perfect moment to continue the conversations.

Don’t miss this opportunity to reconnect with the university, exchange ideas across generations, and be part of a vibrant and inspiring alumni community.
