GIULIA CALABRETTA
is Assistant Professor in Strategic Value of Design at Delft University of Technology. Giulia believes that design and design practices are the right way to go for making companies more innovative in their DNA and prepare them for the behavioral, technological and cultural revolutions of the future.                       
     
  PAUL GARDIEN
​is Vice President of Philips Design and as member of the Philips Design Board responsible for both the strategic development of the global design function and the Design Research & Innovation program. In his strategy role, he has been instrumental in transforming Philips Design from a service unit into a global function. Paul studied industrial design engineering at the Delft University of Technology and holds a PhD in Design Innovation from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
     
 

GERDA GEMSER
is one of five international Professors of Design appointed by RMIT University to strengthen the university’s leadership in design research. Gerda does research on design and innovation management in the creative industries. She has collaborated with Dutch government, Dutch professional design associations, and Dutch industry on different large-scale research projects to examine the role of design in business.

     
 
ROALD HOOPE
is senior designer and consumer insight specialist at Reframing Studio in Amsterdam. He is responsible for the development of forecasts of future consumer behaviour and for the translation into concepts for new products, services and policies. Roald also coaches bachelor design students in 'Design Driven Innovation' at the Delft University of Technology. And he shares his expertise with business professionals as a trainer at Reframing Academy, Reframing Studio's own training institute.
     
 

JOS OBERDORF
has over 30 years’ experience as a designer of dozens of products, diverse in character and by order of small and large companies. Jos has been a managing partner of npk design since 1998, being responsible for daily management of the office, directing the design teams, formulating design strategy activities, and overseeing npk's external communications activities. Jos is part-time Professor of Product Architecture Design at Delft University of Technology.
