Summary

Are you interested in how data stewardship responsibilities are rolled out in different European countries? Do you want to help determine the role that ELIXIR can take in this? Then please join the workshop of the ELIXIR Training coordinators and Training coordinators on this topic.

ELIXIR is the European infrastructure for life science data. A priority for ELIXIR's next Scientific Programme in 2019-2023 is to raise the standards for data stewardship across its 23 partners. In 2016 ELIXIR established a Data Management working group which led to a number of recommendations and the establishment of an implementation study: "Towards Data Stewardship in ELIXIR: Training and Portal" which started in January 2018.

The aim of this workshop is to discuss the progress within the ELIXIR Nodes towards the recommendations of the Working Group, the activities of the Implementation Study, and what future activities are needed to achieve the highest quality of data management across ELIXIR.

For whom?

Technical coordinators and training coordinators of all the ELIXIR nodes, plus anyone interested in contributing to the discussion.
