Building an open training curriculum for FAIR data stewardship
Date & time: 2 October 2018, 10:00 - 12:00 - Room: Flash
Are you interested in learning about the GO-TRAIN Implementation Networks? Are you involved in training and interested in helping us defining 'learner' profiles, skills and objectives for FAIR training? Then please join us in this workshop and help us develop a FAIR curriculum.
You will learn about the mission of the GO-TRAIN pilar and two Implementation Networks: “FAIR Training Frameworks” and “FAIR Data Stewardship Curriculum”, about open, community-driven lesson development practice developed by the Carpentries Foundation and how we can apply it to FAIR curriculum development.
We will discuss about the target audience of the training and define “learner profiles”. Afterwards, we will work on defining what kind of skills the trainees should walk away with after the training, and we will formulate “Learning objectives” for a few teaching modules.
Everyone interested in training around FAIR skills.
