About Panel

The Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM) is a systemic approach to understanding complex socio-technical systems by modelling their functions, their interactions and the system's variability. It highlights how everyday performance variability can combine to produce both successes and unexpected outcomes, moving beyond traditional failure-focused analyses.

This is the first year that the FRAM tutorial offers different tracks for beginners with no knowledge of FRAM and for users with previous experience.

Track 1 of this tutorial is meant for those taking up FRAM modelling for the first time. Track 2 of the tutorial is meant for participants who have experience with FRAM models but who want to understand how Metadata and equations can be added to an existing FRAM model.
