Optional Excursion Day - Apeldoorn & Loenen

**For this additional component of the conference, you must register using the registration form on this congress website. The cost of this special excursion day, in addition to your own travel expenses to Apeldoorn, is 60 euros per person.

As an additional component of the IPH-2026 program, you are cordially invited to register for a visit to the Veluwe, the region renowned for its Dutch paper produced in water mills. You will be welcomed at CODA, Apeldoorn, where museum, library, and archive have been combined. CODA contains numerous archives from Veluwe paper manufacturers and also houses the Edo Gerhard Loeber paper collection. A visit to De Middelste Molen paper mill in Loenen is included in this special excursion day.

Travel by train to Apeldoorn (at your own expense; a return second-class train ticket Amsterdam-Apeldoorn costs 42 euros).

10:45-12:30 Programme at CODA

12:30-13:30 Lunch

13:30-14:00 Bus transfer to Loenen

14:00-15:30 Visit to De Middelste Molen paper mill

15:30-16:00 Return transfer to CODA

16:00-17:00 Closing coffee and tea

Return to Apeldoorn Station and further ‘home’
