2nd & 3rd March 2026

Maastricht, the Netherlands

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

With great pleasure, we invite you to Maastricht to join us for the 10th Joint Meeting of the UK/Dutch Clinical Genetics Societies & Cancer Genetics Groups, to be held on 2–3 March 2026 at the MECC Conference Centre, located in the south of Maastricht, close to Maastricht University Medical Centre+ and Maastricht Randwyck train station.

The joint scientific committee is preparing an exciting programme titled “Shaping the Future of Genetic Medicine”. The meeting will explore key developments across the full spectrum of clinical genetics, with sessions on both cancer and non-cancer genetics. The programme includes lectures by leading experts, trainee presentations selected from submitted abstracts, and traditional highlights such as the Carter Lecture, President’s Lecture, Robin Winter Prize, Ben ter Haar Prize, and the CGS Doctoral Scholar Award.

We warmly encourage trainees to submit abstracts following the instructions on our website and to compete for the awards (abstract submission will open in mid-October).

Following the first conference day, we invite you to a social programme at one of Maastricht’s characteristic venues—an opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends in a relaxed setting.

Unlike previous editions, there will be no in-person Dysmorphology Meeting or Cancer Genetics Case Day during the Joint Meeting. Both will be held online later in the year:

• Dysmorphology Club: 18 March 2026

• Cancer Genetics Case Day: May 2026, date TBC

(Registration and communication for these sessions are separate from the Joint Meeting.)

The meeting has CPD approval from the Royal College of Physicians, and accreditation will also be arranged through the Dutch Society of Clinical Genetics (VKGN).

We are proud to continue this joint meeting tradition—an excellent opportunity to share ideas, discuss new developments, and strengthen international collaboration.

We look forward to welcoming you to Maastricht on 2 & 3 March 2026!
