Where Dutch bioinformaticians meet

On April 8 and 9, 2014 the Dutch bioinformatics community will meet for the 9th time in conference centre De Werelt in Lunteren. A lively programme will provide for presentations about the latest developments in bioinformatics but also for the highly appreciated social networking opportunities during breaks and evening programme. Science & applications

NBIC2014 discusses the latest developments in bioinformatics and computational biology and interrelated disciplines, and their wide-ranging applications in life sciences & health, agriculture, food & nutrition and industrial biotechnology. NBIC2014 offers a cross-disciplinary scientific program of (poster) presentations, application demonstrations and workshops.

Call for nominations NBIC Young Investigator Award

On April 8, during the conference programme, we will announce the winner of the NBIC Young Investigator Award 2014. This year the winner will receive a prize of 250 euros sponsored by BioSB and will present an honorary lecture. Nomination deadline: March 21! Read more

Systems biology session @ NBIC2014

In order to celebrate the integration of the Bioinformatics and Sytems Biology communities in the new BioSB research school, there will be a special parallel Systems Biology session at the NBIC2014 conference.

BoF sessions

This year we are organising Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions on April 9 in the afternoon. The aim of a BOF session is to discuss a topic of your choice in an informal setting. The BOF topics will be announced via the conference website so participants will be able to join the session that interests them most. If you would like to submit a topic for a BOF session, please send us an e-mail!
