Advances in omics technologies are transforming our understanding of neurodegenerative diseases, offering unprecedented insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying dementia. This mini-symposium brings together leading experts in the field to explore cutting-edge research in genomics, epigenomics, and biomarker discovery.
Focusing on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, the program highlights how multi-omics approaches are reshaping our ability to detect, understand, and ultimately intervene in disease processes. From DNA methylation profiling to cell type-specific analyses using novel sequencing technologies, the symposium will showcase innovative methods and their implications for research and clinical practice.
Join us for an inspiring session of scientific exchange, where emerging discoveries meet translational potential in the quest to better understand and combat dementia.

Programme
The mini-symposium will consist of two parts:
Public Session (14:00–15:15)
This first part is open to a broader audience, including caregivers and family members of patients. The goal is to bridge clinical insights and biological mechanisms in an accessible way.
Expert Session (15:45–18:05)
The second part will be a more specialized session with invited experts from the UK, Germany, and Maastricht.
