Global Learning Forum 2024

13 & 14 June 2024

We look forward to welcoming you to the first-ever PCC Alumni Global Learning Forum, taking place on 13-14 June, 2024, at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

This is an invitation-only and in-person event for the alumni of Planning the Cycling City summer program (2015-2023) and Planeando la ciudad segura y saludable (2021-2023). The event is held in English and the program can be found here. We will be sending program updates as we get closer to the event.

Bring a guest! Alumni are encouraged to invite a guest, such as a colleague, stakeholder, or representative from your city. Someone you think would benefit from the PCC experience and network. You can register and pay for your guest using this form, or your guest can register themselves.

Co-creating the Manifesto for Cycling Futures - To attend the event, alumni are required to participate in the development of a 2-part Manifesto for Cycling Futures. Part 1 is about learning for cycling futures and Part 2 is about actions for cycling futures. Part 1 of the Manifesto will be published (printed) and released at the event! Alumni unable to join in-person can also participate in Part 1. Part 2 will co-created together at the event and published in July. Digital versions will be available for free download; printed copies are limited editions.

There are 2 ways to contribute to the Manifesto, Part 1: (1) submit a short written contribution here or (2) schedule an interview with a UCI staff member here.

Tickets - Early-Bird ticket price is €150 (deadline April 15th) and Regular ticket price is €250 (April 16th until June 10th). Each ticket includes coffee/tea break, lunch on both days and dinner on the 13th. Each ticket includes 1 printed copy of Part 1 of Manifesto for Cycling Futures.
