EURON PhD Days Aachen 2027

The EURON PhD Days is a multidisciplinary neuroscience conference dedicated to PhD candidates, bringing together early-career researchers and senior scientists from neuroscience and psychology to present research, exchange ideas, and broaden perspectives beyond their own background and everyday life at university.

This year, we warmly invite you to join us in Aachen (18–19 February 2027), a vibrant academic hub where neuroscience, psychology, and clinical perspectives meet. Under the theme From Synapse to Syndrome: Integrating Neuroscience Across Scales, the conference highlights the full spectrum of brain research, from molecular mechanisms to systems neuroscience and clinical applications.

Program

The program features keynote lectures from leading researchers in pain, psychiatry, and neurodegeneration, alongside parallel sessions, poster presentations, and fast-paced presentations that foster discussion and interdisciplinary exchange. As always, exceptional scientific contributions will be recognised with awards. Workshops on career development, mental health, poster design, and methodology will additionally support attendees throughout their PhD journey and future career development.

We are committed to create an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming environment where participants of all backgrounds, identities, and accessibility needs can fully engage in the conference. The venue is fully accessible, and participants are encouraged to contact the organizing team in advance with any specific requirements.
