In this interactive workshop, we will cover the basics of positive affirmations and visualization, which will help you to become (more) motivated and achieve your goals. The session includes practicing short mindfulness exercises, discussing practical tips and tricks focused on visualization and goal setting, and developing your own affirmations. You can use the affirmations as a preparation tool to start the day focused, energised, creative, centred and connected to your ultimate goals.

It can help to increase your awareness on how your emotions and beliefs drive your thinking which influences your behavior. Which in turn can help you navigate life with greater confidence. It can help you develop a sense of agency which is effective in creating a healthier and more positive mindset.
Mindfulness for me was the key! It helps me to ground and to connect, to cope with the difficult parts of life and to enjoy the good parts of life.

13:30 - 14:30|Positive Mindset through Non-Violent Communication

How can we increase the quality of our communication, and by doing so, bring more positivity into our minds and lives?
Sometimes, even without realizing it, the way that we communicate with others (and ourselves!) is violent in very subtle ways. We could be judging and blaming others - or quickly going into defensive mode. However, the way we choose our words and communicate (both verbally and nonverbally) greatly affects our quality of life and overall well-being.
Nonviolent communication (NVC) is an approach that is well-known world-wide. It allows us to express our needs and wishes with clarity, compassion, self-responsibility, empathy, and the common good in mind. This interactive workshop will allow us to understand how to communicate in nonviolent ways - and how that could help us cultivate a positive mindset. We’ll give you the tools and practical tips to become more aware of our communication style and more skilled at expressing ourselves in positive ways, so that we can create healthier relationships with everyone around us.
We’ll also introduce the platform of Clanbeat, where we can stay in touch in between the WBM workshops.
16:00 - 17:30|#IamRemarkable Empowerment

#IamRemarkable is an approx. 90-minute workshop for everybody interested in the topics of self-achievement, positive mindset and empowerment.
The workshop will have informative as well as interactive parts. Part 1 deals with background & hard facts (theory, research findings, data) and then moves on to Part 2, where the focus lies on group discussions and exercises on self-confidence and self-promotion.
The #IamRemarkable initiative was founded by two female Google employees to provide a platform for women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their achievements (work, school, ...). Their goal was to find a way to break through modesty norms and the so-called glass ceiling that have been entrenched to this day.
Since 2020, Patricia, the host of the session, has volunteered for the #IamRemarkable initiative. As a professional and private person, she has experienced situations in which a healthy approach to one's own self-esteem was not so easy to implement. Breaking old patterns, building courage and self-esteem and seeing happy faces after the workshop confirm and motivate Patricia every time anew to stand up for #IamRemarkable.
