The Athena Institute at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites you to an interdisciplinary training on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), from 14 to 16 December 2016.


Why join?

In this 3-day training, you’ll learn how to

  • Define Responsible Research and Innovation for yourself & your research
  • Increase the personal and societal value of your research
  • Respond to interdisciplinary challenges

PhD students are credited with 2 ECTS after completion of this course.


Who can join?

This training is designed for Research Master students, PhD students and Postdocs from any scientific field (humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, etc.) and from any Dutch university, who want to explore the societal impacts of their research and are curious about Responsible Research and Innovation.



Please register on this page before 28 November. If the maximum number of registrants is exceeded (30), the participants will be selected based on an additional motivation letter.
