Start Programme

What is the Start Programme?
The transition to the university can be a challenging time. Some students could use some extra support to find their way on campus. With the new Start Programme, we want to help this group of students. It consists of a series of activities with three themes:
Informing – practical information about facilities and available support
Connecting – meet fellow students and share experiences
Strengthening study skills – learn useful study techniques and tools

For who?
The Start Programme is designed for students who may benefit from extra support in their first months at the university. This includes, for example, students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, a physical disability, a chronic illness, or caregiving responsibilities. This programme is also open to anyone who feels they could use a bit of extra guidance or connection during their start at TU Delft.
Organisation
Start is a programme of Horizon, the central platform for studying with supports needs at TU Delft. Horizon is managed by the team of central student counsellors and student assistants.
For questions, email to Horizon-esa@tudelft.nl.
