VoltaChem
VoltaChem is a business-driven Shared Innovation Program, powered by TNO, with a turnover of around 12 million euro per year and a large growth ambition for the coming years. It connects and supports the renewable energy sector, the technology supply sector and the EPC & licensing sectors with the chemical industry in order to accelerate innovation in Power-2-X technology. At 3 TNO locations, around 50 research scientists, technical consultants and system integrators develop new technologies and business models together with more than 50 customers and partners focusing on the use of renewable energy in the production of fuels, materials and food.
Brightsite transforming industry towards a sustainable future
Brightsite makes a major contribution to the transition of the chemical industry to renewable energy and feedstock sources, with the aim of making this sector climate neutral and bringing solutions for other sectors. We boost the development and commercial application of technologies that enable the chemical industry to achieve its sustainability, safety and human capital objectives, in line with the climate challenge and energy transition. A great assignment where knowledge and skills of all parties come together, committed to securing and promoting employment in a sustainable manner.

The state-of-the-art science and innovation community located at Brightlands Chemelot Campus develops and delivers chemistry, sustainable materials and biomedical solutions to global challenges, thus contributing to more sustainable living.
The campus is a unique creative breeding ground for science and innovation that makes a strong contribution to positioning the Netherlands as a leading research country.
