Above the Water
Kitepower
Kitepower is a leading start-up in Airborne Wind Energy (AWE), developing innovative and cost-effective alternatives to existing wind turbines. Their patented technology is a game-changer in the wind energy sector: it uses up to 90% less material, with the potential to be twice as efficient as conventional wind turbines with the same power output. Unlike conventional wind turbines, Kitepower systems do not require resource-intensive towers nor heavy foundations and are thus highly mobile and easy to deploy. The system can harness stronger and more persistent winds at higher altitudes, allowing for capacity factors greater than 0.5 and cost-effective electricity generation in return. Read more.
TouchWind
TouchWind has a clear mission: Make wind energy affordable. Everywhere and for everyone. Finally. And they are on the way. They have managed to build the first angled and scalable one-piece rotor. This rotor is low-cost and can operate in all wind speeds. Last but not least, they have invented our planet's first low-cost floating wind turbine, which costs approximately half the price of current turbines and generates more energy. Read more.
InfraBlades
InfraBlades envisions a future where cities grow through sustainable infrastructure, creating safe, circular, and uncompromising environments. By rethinking how to use building materials, they aim to shape tomorrow’s infrastructure with innovative, responsible solutions. Their mission is to build high-quality, strong, and stylish infrastructure from repurposed wind turbine blades, connecting the construction and wind energy sectors to boost sustainability and efficiency. With innovative design and efficient material use, they deliver infrastructure that combines a low footprint with long-lasting performance. Read more.
Dopplium
Dopplium is a pioneering company in radar technology, driven by a mission to revolutionise sensing capabilities across industries. Their cutting-edge solutions combine radar innovation with the latest advances in artificial intelligence, enhancing efficiency, safety, and decision-making. Founded by a team of experienced engineers and researchers from TU Delft, Dopplium integrates decades of expertise in radar systems, signal processing, and data analytics. By leveraging AI and state-of-the-art technologies, they deliver innovative products tailored to solve real-world challenges. Read more.

Tree Composites
Tree Composites introduces the TC-joint, a novel technology based on composite as an alternative to the complex welded joints in multi-membered tubular structures. They provide solutions to realise dynamically loaded structures with less material, while simultaneously increasing the production rate at the construction yard. The TC-joint offers superior performance compared to welded joints and is applicable to a wide range of industries. However, they focus their efforts on the industry where they can make the most significant impact: offshore structures. Read more.
Vibrotwist
Vibrotwist delivers a revolutionary noise-free vibratory pile-driving technology for tubular steel pile foundations, as well as a corresponding pile extraction technique, allowing for the complete removal of old piles.
Gentle Driving of Piles (GDP) is a new technology for the vibratory installation of tubular (mono)piles. Its founding principle is that both efficient installation and low noise emission can be achieved by applying a combination of axial and torsional vibrations to the pile. Read more.
Coastruction
Coastructions' main focus is to design, produce, and install 3D-printed purpose-built reefs to aid in the restoration of damaged reef systems and protect vulnerable coastlines. They believe that purpose-built reefs should be naturally shaped to suit the ecosystems they inhabit. When key species adopt their new habitat, there is a greater chance of success.
They aim to transform concrete into a circular and eco-friendly material. Concrete accounts for approximately 4 to 8 per cent of all global man-made carbon emissions. Innovating and optimising recipes to reduce CO2 emissions, repurposing production waste, and recycling depreciated concrete are key components of Coastruction's primary mission. Read more.
Delft Cymatics
Delft Cymatics provides consultation and support in the field of offshore sound predictions and noise mitigation. They specialise in noise predictions related to the installation of monopile foundations for the offshore wind industry, leveraging their state-of-the-art software.
The underlying technology, developed at the Delft University of Technology, offers superior predictions of the generation and propagation of the sound field associated with impact piling. It provides flexibility in examining various system configurations and allows for in-depth analysis due to its computational efficiency. Read more.
GBM Works
GBM Works provides a more silent (and therefore more sustainable) tool for the installation and decommissioning of offshore wind farm foundations. More specifically, GBM Works has been developing and commercialising the Vibrojet®, an innovative method that combines vibrations with water jetting. This approach reduces the friction between the inner walls of the monopile and the soil, reducing the resistance against installation. Although the installation and decommissioning services with the Vibrojet® are their core, GBM Works can also support with a number of auxiliary subjects, such as drivability analysis, noise studies, product development, subsidy applications and others. Read more.
Seekable
Seekable’s mission is to deliver a plug-and-play cable and pipeline tracking product that ensures high efficiency, fast survey speeds, and complete transparency. This mission reflects a broader vision: to make cable-tracking technology more accessible, reliable, and easier to integrate into modern offshore workflows. The Amsterdam-based team of geophysicists, engineers, and software developers specialises in offshore, nearshore, and land-based cable and pipeline detection. Their proprietary subsea detection system has been successfully field-tested, delivering accurate cable positioning, burial depth data, and magnetic field tracking for safer, more efficient infrastructure monitoring.
