Orgasm Gap

Sex is good if the male bed partner climaxes, isn’t it? It may not sound very equal, but in heterosexual sex, men achieve orgasm more often than their female bed partner: 90% compared to 30%. So coitus gives rise to an orgasm gap.

World-famous sexologist Ellen van Laan was one of the first to do research into this phenomenon, and her findings led to a form of activism. Sexual pleasure for all!

In her lecture, Van Laan explains her research, revealing what the clitoris is (and isn’t) and how the orgasm gap is caused. After the lecture, she will enter into discussion with Marieke DeWitte, a sexologist at Maastricht University, and with the audience. How can we close the orgasm gap?
