The Battle of the Minds

On Wednesday, the 29^th of June the Battle of the Minds hackathon will take place in which Health minister Ernst Kuipers invites all participants to address one of the greatest challenges to our healthcare system. The winning team will receive - next to everlasting fame - a ‘convergence inspired award’ and the possibility to shape the idea into a durable solution for the challenge with financial support.

As an early Convergence adapter, you already showed that you believe in the potential of cross-disciplinary collaboration when it comes to addressing current research questions. You’ve built teams with researchers from different disciplines and institutions and presented us with a thorough plan for a substantial research program.

Now we are curious: What happens when you address a challenging question in a pressure cooker hackathon? Which ideas and solution will arise? Will you come up with the idea that changes how we address one of our most pressing healthcare challenges?
We have already received many applications from the Convergence Health & Technology community, so a good competition is guaranteed! You can either sign up as a team or by yourself and we will assign you to a team. 

Aside from the competitive aspect of this challenge we also guarantee a fun event with possibilities to team up and get to know other Convergence researchers.

Please tell your colleagues who might be interested to join too. There is no need to prepare anything upfront. We hope to see lots of you on May 25th during the Battle of the Minds!
