WORK SESSION | TACKLING JUVENILE DELINQUENCY AND ADDICTION

How can we effectively apply digital technologies such as apps in tackling juvenile delinquency and addiction. Which elements of the app will motivate all stakeholders, and help adolescents to formulate and reach their long term goals? How do we deal with ethical, practical and logistical challenges?

In this workshop we will interactively explore answers to these questions with young people, researchers from different disciplines and societal partners. Scientists and partners, affiliated with the Healthy Start Ambition project Tackling juvenile delinquency and addiction, will share their best practices and lessons learned.

WERK SESSIE | AANPAK VAN JEUGDCRIMINALITEIT EN VERSLAVING

Hoe zet je technologieën zoals apps effectief in bij de aanpak van jeugdcriminaliteit en verslaving? Wat voor werkbare elementen heeft een app nodig om de motivatie van alle betrokkenen te stimuleren, en jongeren te helpen om lange termijn doelen te formuleren en behalen? Hoe ga je om met ethische, praktische en logistieke uitdagingen?
 

In deze workshop gaan we samen met jongeren, wetenschappers uit verschillende disciplines en maatschappelijke partners op een interactieve manier op zoek naar het antwoord op deze vragen. Een aantal onderzoekers en partners geaffilieerd aan het Healthy Start ambitieproject Bestrijden van jeugdcriminaliteit en verslaving zullen hun best practices pitchen en toelichten wat ze van hun ervaringen hebben geleerd.
