11th Annual CRCG PhD day

Welcome to the website of the 11th Annual CRCG PhD day, taking place on the 12th of October 2023! 

This meeting is intended for PhD students, MD/PhD students and their supervisors working in the research field of oncology. PhD students can present their work through oral presentations or pitches and be inspired by fellow colleagues. Both fundamental, translational and clinical research will be mixed to stimulate a valuable crosslink between the different fields.

It is expected from all PhD and MD-PhD students (except 1st years) to submit an abstract. As fundamental and clinical research will be combined, we would like to emphasize that abstracts, pitches and presentations need to be understandable for people outside your own research field.

The deadline for abstract submission is September 8^th.

The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by an expert committee that will select some abstracts for an oral presentation, the other abstracts are selected for pitches.

We’re thrilled to announce this year’s keynote speaker: Renée van Amerongen, from the University of Amsterdam. She will talk about her career and how she combines research with outreach.

The complete program will be sent to the participants at the end of September.
