A day full of activities

Dear colleagues,

As is our tradition, the last Seminar Day (Tuesday, June 13) will be full of fun activities to close the academic year together.

The venue for the last Seminar Day of the academic year will be Abel, Albrandswaardsedijk 194, 3172 XB, Poortugaal-Rhoon. There will be shuttle buses available from metro stration Rhoon (kiss & ride) to the venue in the morning, as from 09.00 hrs. till 09.30 hrs. and from the venue to metro station Rhoon in the afternoon, as from 17.15 hrs. till 17.45 hrs..

Activities

1. Footgolf

Footgolf is a combination of football and golf! You will use a football and you will play 18 holes, just like playing "normal" golf. You have to shoot the ball from the kick-off in the direction of the flag. It is the intention to get the ball in the hole with as less shots as possible.

2. Pitch&Putt

Green fee 18 holes Pitch&Putt. Wear a casual outfit and comfortable shoes. Shoes with heals or studs are not allowed.

3. Jeu de boules

Enjoy a little competition during a friendly game of jeu de boules with your colleagues.

4. Walk through the Rhoonse Grienden with a guide

During this excursion you will stay on the walking path and if possible a walk through the Griend, for which a small jump over a small ditch may be required. During this excursion the guide will explain something about the origin of this tidal land and its dynamics, the specific and special nature belonging to such a delta, the history and the effects of climate change. This walk will last 1,5 hrs..

5. Archery

Improve your archery skills with the help of a professional instructor.
