The Young Algaeneers Symposium is on its ninth edition, and it's taking place in Almería, Spain from 3-6 of June 2025.

The YAS ticket includes access to the four days conference sessions, which include Invited Speaker talks, Site-visits and Workshops, Food (Coffee-breaks and Lunch), Transportation (Almería City Center-University) and Social Activities.

Senior Ticket:

Seniors are welcome to attend YAS, with the option to choose either daily or full-day tickets. Please note that availability is limited, so secure your spot early!

Participants applying for Oversea Scholarships- register before 14th February 2025
Innovation Competition Registration Deadline: 21st February 2025
Registration with Abstract Submission until: 4th April 2025
Registration without Abstract Submission until: 18th April 2025

- Oral presentation slots are limited due to programme schedule availability. Final decision regarding the presentation format will be made by the scientific committee, and participants will be informed accordingly.

During YAS Working Group sessions you will have the opportunity to think, discuss and find original solutions to real algae-world problems. Please submit your Working Group topic below:

While participation in the Working Groups is optional, we strongly encourage you to join, as this is a cornerstone activity of YAS. Please note that no other sessions or events will run in parallel to the Working Group sessions, ensuring that all participants can fully engage in this collaborative experience.
