Pilates
16h00 -17h00
UM Sports (Body & Mind Studio)
Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Pilates exercises often involve controlled movements performed on a mat.
The exercises emphasize core strength, stability, and mind-body connection. They typically target muscles in the abdomen, lower back, hips, and thighs, aiming to create a strong and balanced body. Therefore, in addition to the superficial muscles, Pilates mainly trains the deeper muscles around the spine and of the pelvis. Pilates workouts can vary in intensity, making them suitable for people of different fitness levels and abilities.
Many people turn to Pilates for its benefits, which include improved posture, increased muscle strength and tone, enhanced flexibility, better balance and coordination, and reduced stress. It's often recommended for rehabilitation purposes, as well as for general fitness and wellbeing.

Mindful Movement
17h00 - 18h00
UM Sports (Body & Mind Studio)
Mindful movement is a dynamic exploration of the connection between mind and body —an opportunity to focus on being rather than doing. We will do a variety of movement exercises designed to help you reconnect with your body, fostering imagination and playfulness. With the help of music, we will explore diverse qualities of movement and play with opposing forces such as resistance and flow, softness and rigidity, etc... By incorporating breathwork and meditation, this activity provides a great space to clear your head and relax after a stressful day.
No experience is required, just an open mind!
