Because I have my original diploma already in my possession, I will be handed a symbolic folder during the ceremony while my graduation photo is made.

As you want to come and collect my diploma personally at the Education Desk in the Law Faculty, please wait for confirmation from law-diploma@maastrichtuniversity.nl. They will inform you when your diploma is ready to collect during working days between 10 am. and 2 pm. Note that you will need to present a proof of identity.

We will send your diploma to the given address via registered mail and you will receive an email about the postal shipment.

Caps and Gowns
During the physical graduation ceremonies of Maastricht University, Faculty of Law, graduates wear a cap, gown and tassel. You can order this (but do not feel obliged) using the link you will receive in the confirmation after you click submit. Prices and payment you find via the link. The deadline for order is June 8.

Deadline
In order to prepare the diploma's, we work with a deadline. Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests/changes after the deadline. 

QR Code & Identification
Upon entry, we ask you to show your personal QR code and a valid identity card (passport, identity card or residence permit). This is to ensure that the degree will be handed out to the rightful owner. 

Extra guests
We hope you can bring your loved ones to witness the presentation of your diploma. It is not possible to bring extra guests other than the  maximum you have registered.  

Attend ceremony on another date
It is not possible to attend a ceremony on another date. The established dates you can find via this link are leading. Requests for exceptions cannot be honored. 

Photos 
Because we like to cherish good memories, the Faculty of Law will make photos which will be used on the UM website, alumnu wall, social media etc. By participating in the graduation ceremony, you agree to this. We do not offer livestream for this event.

Parking
We recommend traveling by public transport. The location is a 20-minute walk from the railway station. However, if you use your own transport, we recommend to reserve a place in the Q-park garage onder het Vrijthof. Parking costs are at your own expense.
