Meld je aan voor de Keti Koti Pop-up & Herdenking

 

Op maandag 30 juni organiseert INCLUDED een sfeervolle pop-up op Museumpark en Kralingse Zoom om samen stil te staan bij Keti Koti – de herdenking van de afschaffing van de slavernij. Schuif aan voor een bord Heri Heri (traditioneel Surinaams gerecht) en bekijk de expositie die we samenstelden: met informatie over de betekenis van Keti Koti, portretten van studenten en verhalen van verzetshelden uit het koloniale verleden.

Wil je de dag samen afsluiten? De officiële Rotterdamse Herdenking van Keti Koti vindt om 19:00 uur plaats bij het Slavernijmonument aan de Loydskade. Samen met studenten en medewerkers bezoeken we deze herdenking in Rotterdam. Je bent van harte welkom om mee te gaan.

 

🇬🇧:On Monday, June 30th, INCLUDED is organizing a cozy pop-up at Museumpark and Kralingse Zoom to come together and reflect on Keti Koti – the commemoration of the abolition of slavery. Join us for a plate of Heri Heri (a traditional Surinamese dish) and explore the exhibition we put together, featuring information about the meaning of Keti Koti, student portraits, and stories of resistance heroes from the colonial past.

Would you like to end the day together? The official Rotterdam Keti Koti Commemoration takes place at 7:00 PM at the Slavery Monument on Loydskade. Together with students and staff, we will attend this commemoration in Rotterdam. You are warmly invited to join us.
