VISAR 2026

Aortic therapy has evolved into a mature field — and VISAR reflects that maturity. We move beyond the early adopter’s question “what can we do?” and instead ask the more fundamental one: “what should we do?” At VISAR 2026, you will travel across the full spectrum of aortic therapy — from the valve to the iliac. Yet one principle remains constant: progress is not defined by what we add, but by what we are willing to question.

We do not hesitate to step off the beaten path. We ask politically uncomfortable questions to leading members of the aortic community in the Aortic Panel of Truth, and we explore the deeper roots of dissatisfaction among mentors and mentees alike in They know it — but they don’t fix it. We reflect on the societal implications of millions of EVAR recipients across Europe, and we listen equally to the perspectives of senior leaders and the next generation.
