The online masterclasses from the Policy Research Translated to Action series are informed by state-of-the-art knowledge produced from our context relevant interdisciplinary research, co-created with partners from the Global South and North in academia, governments and the UN system, connecting science, policy and practice.

Each masterclass has a duration of 2 hours and features three expert speakers from three different UNU institutes. They will share their research and insights on the session’s topic, focusing on practical applications and how academic knowledge is translated into policy advice.

We offer six to eight masterclasses each academic year, covering a wide range of global topics.

The United Nations University is not able to offer scholarships for this event series in general. In case we are able to offer scholarships for a particular masterclass, you will find instructions on our website how to apply for a scholarship.

In case you wish to co-organise a masterclass with our experts, kindly reach out to cdo@merit.unu.edu.
