Dear fear lovers,

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the next European Fear Conditioning Meeting, taking place in Barcelona from 12–14 April.

Despite the name of the meeting, plenty of appetitive reinforcers await you here: a fantastic line-up of speakers, including a keynote by Professor Merel Kindt, a pre-congress workshop by Dr Ondrej Zika, some fun social activities and, of course, everything this fascinating city has to offer.

What better way to hear about the latest advances in the science of fear from some of the best researchers in the field than while sharing ideas, good food and perhaps a beer or two in Barcelona?

And if you think you already know everything there is to know about fear, this meeting might just give you a huge prediction error.
