EAZA Academy Developing an effective Conservation Education Plan course

The primary goal of this course is to guide educators through the processes required to meet the EAZA Conservation Education Standards (and World Zoo and Aquarium Conservation Education Strategy recommendations) linked to developing robust education plans.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

-Identify key elements to include in a conservation education plan

-Describe key stakeholders and their primary needs

-Assess your current conservation education work and describe how it meets those needs

-Develop an appropriate conservation education plan for your own institutional context

-Describe and apply appropriate methods to assess progress with implementation of your plan
