Summer is approaching soon. It is time to shake off that old office dust and give your body some well-deserved endorphins through sports, good food and company. The ME-PhD Council would like to invite you to the upcoming end-of-academic-year Sports Event and BBQ! The event will be held on July 5 from 13:00 to 21:00 at X.

 

The day consists of essentially two events:

• Firstly and foremost, the sports competitions will take place from 13.00 at X. A mix of team sports and 'Dutch kermis' sports will be planned for you and the other concurring teams. 
• For the second half, drinks and a barbecue are being organized starting from 17.00 also at X. There, the prizes for the winning teams will be given, and bellies will be filled with tasty food and drinks.

Take into consideration the following:

• The event is completely free!
• Teams will consists of 5 to 6 people. We will confirm the teams' participants on the 8th of June, depending on suggested team sizes and individuals without a team.
• If you choose so, we will find a team for you.
• There will be two prizes: one will be given out for the best team's costume and one will be given out for the team that gathered to most points for the sports.
• The event will take place regardless of the weather. We have booked indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone's comfort.
• You are expected to bring your own set of sports clothes, sports shoes, and a water bottle.
• You can use the changing rooms at X to change and shower.
