The session: The secret formula of coaching student teams – How to resolve team conflicts
In these session initiated by the Inclusive Education Community, we will explore inspiring practices across the university and build on them by sharing our own experiences. In this session Stefan Persaud and Bas Flipsen from IDE faculty will take the floor. They will share their tips and tricks in coaching diverse student teams and explain more details from their book “CONNECT- the secret formula of coaching design teams” and they will dive deeper into their experiences on how to resolve team conflicts.
Target Audience
This event is open to anyone at TU Delft who is interested in this topic and/or inclusive education in general. While it is especially relevant for those involved in teaching, we warmly welcome students, support staff, and all others who would like to join and contribute.
Background
A hands-on masterclass on Inclusive Education in January 2025 revealed that many valuable initiatives are already happening at the university. Participants expressed a need to better understand these efforts and exchange experiences. In May 2025, we held a follow-up meeting to gather insights into current initiatives and participants’ wishes. Based on these outcomes, we will organize events that help educators connect, share experiences, and learn from each other. Our goal is to provide an overview of relevant initiatives and build a network that supports easy sharing, collaboration, and inspiration.
