CareTech Symposium 2025

We are pleased to invite you to the annual CareTech Symposium, taking place on October 7th 2025 at the VU medical center (VUMC) in Amsterdam.

This year, our central theme is collaboration. Over the course of two days, we aim to provide an inspiring platform to foster new connections and strengthen existing ones within our community.

We welcome all participants to submit posters—whether you wish to present a challenge in need of a solution, showcase your scientific work, or introduce a product or concept. This is your opportunity to share, engage, and receive valuable feedback.

To participate with a poster, please indicate your interest when registering on the registration website.

Note: Signing up for a poster does not automatically register you for the symposium, and vice versa.

Important Information

  • Spots are limited, so we encourage you to register early.
  • Registration is open until Sunday, September 21th, 2025, or until we reach capacity—whichever comes first.
  • The full program and further details are available on the registration website.

We look forward to welcoming you to Amsterdam in October!

Warm regards,
The CareTech Symposium Team

You may also want to combine this Symposium with the Motor Impairment Conference!

This October, the fifth Motor Impairment Conference will take place in Amsterdam.
Motor impairment causes physical disability in a wide range of diseases and health conditions. It can involve weakness, fatigue, impaired sensation, reduced balance, muscle contracture, poor co-ordination and cuts across many diseases and conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, spinal injury and healthy ageing. Much is still unknown about fundamental mechanisms of motor impairment, and about its prevention and treatment. Our conference is aimed to share fundamental and clinical methods and findings on this critical area. We are proud of an excellent list of invited speakers on various domains of motor impairment. We cordially invite you to join this multidisciplinary event to better understand the pathophysiology of motor impairment, to implement interventions, and to drive enhanced clinical practice.
The abstract submission deadline is on the 8th of August.

Early bird registration and hotel discount: 1st of September
