About the workshop
Workshop in Hamburg: Harmonisation of electrolyser test protocols
At the Hydrogen Technology Expo in Hamburg, GroenvermogenNL and TNO will host a workshop on a barrier the sector runs into daily. Components and systems move freely across the Dutch, German and Belgian border but the test evidence behind them does not. There is no commonly accepted way to test, present and compare performance, lifetime and degradation, which slows down qualification and makes investment decisions harder than they need to be.
The workshop puts industry in the lead. OEMs, EPCs, component suppliers, test facilities and financiers will look at which protocols deserve priority, what a credible route towards a widely accepted protocol looks like, and who needs to be involved to get there. The session introduces the Community of Practice Electrolysers (COPE) and includes an expert presentation on harmonization by TNO.
