Welcome to Dance The Stress Out!

Life can be challenging, we all know that. Especially when a pandemic crisis keeps on and turns life upside down. In these strange times, taking care of your mental health is more important than ever before. As the saying goes; to take care of your mind, take care of your body! Breathe in, breathe out and dance the stress out!

Join our workshop series where you will practice several dance exercises inspired by Margaret Morris Movement and learn different ways to relax both your mind and your body. The focus will be on breathing, posture, balance, relaxation of your face muscles, which we will spice up with some energisers as well. At the end of every session, 15 minutes are devoted to practising a choreography, so it is advised to attend all four sessions!

Important information:

Dance The Stress Out consists of 4 workshops for 4 consecutive Mondays or Wednesdays.

  • Option 1:

       -> Starts on: 31/01/2022. Next sessions: 7/02/2022, 14/02/2022, 21/02/2022.

       -> Time: Mondays from 18:00 till 19:15 

       -> Location: UM Guesthouse, N-building, Brouwersweg 100

  • Option 2: 

       -> Starts on: 2/02/2022. Next sessions: 9/02/2022, 16/02/2022, 23/02/2022.

       -> Time: First session is on Wednesday 2/02 from 17:00 till 18:15.

                       The next sessions are on Wednesday from 18:00-19:15 

       -> Location: UM Guesthouse, N-building, Brouwersweg 100

The sessions are in English. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes!
