Digital Exhibition Building with IIIF

Are you interested in creating digital exhibitions using open source tools and open standards? Would you like to learn how you can access and reuse digital collections of libraries and archives around the world? Would you like to develop interactive presentations of your research or co-create stories with groups of students? Join this hands-on workshop led by TU Delft Library and Digirati.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn about the open standards of the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) and how to access IIIF resources.

  • Craft your own digital exhibition or presentation using the web-based IIIF Manifest Editor and IIIF Exhibition Viewer.

  • Explore the technical features and practical applications of the tools in curating presentations.

  • Get to give feedback directly to the developers.

Whether you're an archivist, curator, educator, or digital humanities enthusiast, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their digital exhibition creation process, with or without prior knowledge of IIIF.
