Bridging Fundamentals and Deployment in Energy-Transition Catalytic Reactors
This talk focuses on the important connection between fundamental research and practical implementation in energy-transition catalytic reactors, specifically targeting hydrogen and carbon-based fuel production. As the global energy landscape shifts, the importance of innovative chemical feedstock processes grows. This presentation examines how electrochemical and thermochemical approaches can be combined as effective pathways for sustainable chemical and fuel generation. We will discuss the roles of experimental methods and multiscale modeling, which are crucial for scaling up and deploying processes. Additionally, the presentation will showcase advances in related fields and within catalytic reactors. By integrating these different developments, the talk seeks to connect basic science with real-world applications
