What information do we collect from you?
When you register for the Symposium we collect information about you such as your name and email address, as far as necessary to organise the MHeNs Symposium.
For speakers whose lecture we receive: we collect information about you, such as name and email address, as well as the by you provided lecture, in order to organise the MHeNs Symposium.
Why do we collect this information?
We use the personal information you supply to be able to organise this MHeNs Symposium.
Who might we share this information with?
We share this information with the MHeNs community, the external review assessment committee and/or applicable patient associations in order to bring the MHeNs Symposium and/or the work of MHeNs to their attention.
How long do we keep hold of your information?
We do not keep your personal information or lecture any longer than is necessary for the organisation of this symposium.
Legal basis for processing
We collect and use your personal information on one or more of the following grounds:
- you have given us your consent; and/or
- processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party; and/or
- for the purposes of legitimate interests in our efforts to manage, administer and facilitate services for the MHeNs Symposium; and/or

How do we keep your information safe?
Personal information will be stored on the servers of Maastricht University and all the safety measures Maastricht University takes to keep (personal) data safe are applicable to this information as well.
