Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the BWI Study visit to the Learning and Research Factory Ruhr-University Bochum on the topic “Digitalisation and Work Design in Concrete Terms” to be held from 31 March to 1 April 2022 in Bochum, Germany. 

The activity is jointly organised by Building and Wood Workers’ International (BWI) and IG Metall, Germany, with the support of Friedrich-Ebert Foundation (FES).

The Study visit is supposed to cover members of the BWI Technical Ad–hoc Working Group on Future of Work, national and local trade union leaders and experts from the different regions in the world.

The arrival of participants is on 30 March, Wednesday and departure on 02 April, Saturday (until 1200 CET).
 
The activity will take place on 31 March – 01 April 2022 from 0900 CET to 1800 CET at

Please register online by visiting the "Register" section on top not later than 21 February 2022, Monday.

Confirmation of your participation will follow upon the receipt of your online registration form. We will provide you further information on airport transfers to the venue, and other practical information later.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the study visit. The working languages will be English, German and Portuguese. The draft program of the study visit will follow shortly.
